‘One thing that certainly was never in doubt was the passion or commitment of conductor Paul Walton, and by conveying this to his singers he drew the very best out of them’

Bristol Evening Post

(Messiah at Bristol Cathedral)

‘Absolutely superb premiere of 'Triptych in Honour of Herbert Howells'. Astonishing playing by Paul Walton in what would have been an excellent single take recording. Musical, exciting, and with masterful use of every colour in that fabulous instrument. I could ask for no better proponent - hugely grateful.’
