Paul gives one recital per term at Bristol Cathedral, and has also given recitals at several other venues throughout Bristol such as St. Mary Redcliffe and ChristChurch, Broad Street. Other solo recital venues have included St. Peter’s Church, Eaton Square, London (sponsored by the Keyboard Charitable Trust), cathedrals including Westminster, Portsmouth and Coventry, Westminster Abbey, Rochdale Town Hall and Parr Hall, Warrington. Last year, Paul was the organist of Musica Deo Sacra at Tewkesbury Abbey, and his solo recital venues included Bath Abbey and Glasgow University.

‘One thing that certainly was never in doubt was the passion or commitment of conductor Paul Walton, and by conveying this to his singers he drew the very best out of them’

Bristol Evening Post

(Messiah at Bristol Cathedral)

‘Absolutely superb premiere of 'Triptych in Honour of Herbert Howells'. Astonishing playing by Paul Walton in what would have been an excellent single take recording. Musical, exciting, and with masterful use of every colour in that fabulous instrument. I could ask for no better proponent - hugely grateful.’
